Hailey's Birthday

It was Hailey's 7th birthday on saturday. We spent the day at Ikea and playing games and such- it was actually really fun.

We did the cake and ice cream at night and had great- grandma and grandpa over, so nice to finally share a birthday with family!

So here are the pics from the day... and the cake i made. took me like 6 hours! but i love it. Her cheesy grin with another tooth lost... she's just too darned cute! can't believe she's 7- that just means that she'll be 8 next year and i'm freaking out about that- cause i'm not nearly old enough to have an 8 year old!!!

She got everything High school musical of course. And let me tell you- she plays with them everyday.. so it was totally worth the money spent! It was a good day- it's to the point where birthdays are magical and so it made for a fun day!

another exciting thing is that I got myself a little gift too. ;)-

my pretty little portrait lens and a new camera bag. with all the lens' i'm getting and plan on getting, i need something to accomodate them all! and the first pics are taken with my lens- I LOVE IT!!! Isn't the depth of field awesome?!?!?

and one final thing- Hailey got a balloon for her birthday and Jayce loved it. he got so excited everytime it came around him. We gave it to him and let him at it.. it was one of the funniest things. so here are a few hammy shots of him with it. isn't he just the cutest? i love him! :)

A Funny

So my 7 yr old daughter comes up to me today and says:

her: "Mom.. I know what a maid is."
me: "Oh yah? what is it?"
her: "It's what a girl becomes when she gets married."

Seriously... TO DIE FOR!

Ok- so my cutie patootie cousin that lives close by, makes these ADORABLE aprons. She made me one... isn't it cute?! Now... she added straps above and the matching brown ribbon across the pocket. to die for right? I love it. everytime i'm in the kitchen, i put it on... just so i can feel cute. :)-



ANyway..... so she's started up a blog and an etsy store to sell them. One of the cutest ideas she came up with is matching "Mommy-n-me" aprons. I saw them last night and they are awesome!

so... go check them all out. order some- she does them in like a day- she's amazing... i know.

OY!!!!

The last 4 days have NOT been fun at all. I noticed on Monday that my little baby wasn't feeling well. just the cranky and not eating very much. But there was no fever and nothing else to make me believe anything was really wrong.

WRONG!!!!

That night around 9:30- he puked. ALL OVER THE PLACE.
at 11:00 Puke again.

I pulled his bed into the living room and I slept on the couch to make sure it wouldn't happen again. He dry heaved- but no more throwing up.

Woke up (well.. didn't really sleep) and he ended up throwing up about 3 times on Tuesday. he'd keep down some juice- but any time we fed him formula, it would come back up about 3 seconds after he'd finish it.

Tuesday night- he threw up once about 3 am, but it wasn't a lot and he went right back to sleep.

Wednesday he threw up around 10 am, again-not that much, and that was it for the day. We were able to feed him a little formula and have him keep it down.

Wednesday night- slept through the night-and no throwing up... THANK HEAVENS.

He woke up this morning as happy as could be- he's been playing and smiling. I thought for sure he was on the downside of this thing.

WRONG.

I strapped all the kids in the car to go get Hailey from school and as we're waiting..... BLAH. seriously... all over the back of my car. Like he'd been holding 2 days worth of food just to come out now.
ugh.

Gothome, cleaned him up.... he's smiling and playing- but isn't acting like he feels well.

still no fever, nothing else is wrong- just throwing up. He's still drinking, he's still having wet diapers- so i know he's not dehydrated. I think if he throws up tomorrow i'm taking him in.

none of the other kids have been sick at all. (knock on wood) and i was nauceous for 2 days with him, but i'm feeling much better too. I bleached all his toys, used clorox to clean his saucer and carseat, I've boiled his binky's, and i'm washing my hands like crazy and making everyone else do it too.

i just hope it ends soon. Heaven knows i DO NOT want a repeat of christmas 2007... THAT was a nightmare i never want to see again.


anyway- i'm here, i'm alive, just blah.
i'll post something more amusing later on. It's Hailey's bday this weekend- so i'll have plenty to post about!

I sent out a mass email to those of you who ordered kits. If you didn't get one from me- here it is:

Due to the raise of flat shipping rates, I've decided that reg. priority shipping will be cheaper for everyone. Because of this, the totals will not be sent until I box them all and weigh them all. Once I'm able to get them all weighed, I will pay for the shipping price and stamp. I will email everyone the totals once I have them. SOrry for the inconvenience- and it will take a little longer to get the totals to you- but rest assured that they are coming. I'm hoping to get them all shipped by mid-week next week. I will ship as I get payment in.

I will be accepting payment via paypal, money order, or personal check. If you pay with the latter one- please be aware that it will take longer to ship as I will wait for the processing of the $. I will send paypal information in each personal email with the grand total. Please rest assured that I haven't forgotten anyone and that I'm not ignoring emails. :)

I've been busy today with sick kids and running around- so I wasn't able to get emails out with totals yet. sorry!

BONUS!!!!!!

I'm selling my *almost* never used Silhouette. It's been used a whole 3 times. Comes with all the blades, cutting mat, instal CD.

It also comes with these shapes built in the program.....

I will say- the program is not that hard to learn, but i was told you could make your own images in other programs and upload them to this and cut them out. No matter how many times I tried to figure it out, it didn't work. HOWEVER.... i'm dumb when it comes to figuring stuff out like that- so take it with a grain of salt. lol

I'm selling it for $100.
